The accused’s relatives shared a video of a confrontation between two students—whom they say are Simpkins and Selby—on social media.
Although the police looked into the allegations, they did not verify if the school was informed of any bullying.
After Simpkins was freed on bond a few hours later, pictures and videos of the teenager having a good time with friends and family were posted to social media.
The family brags about the teen’s speedy release from police custody in the posts.
