The five individuals are alleged to have knowingly supplied and administered ketamine to Perry, exploited his addiction, and attempted to “cover up
” their actions after his death, according to authorities. Estrada stated that Perry had relapsed into addiction in the autumn of 2023, just prior to his passing.
“These defendants took advantage of Mr. Perry’s addiction issues to enrich themselves,” Estrada asserted.
‘Repeatedly’, Matthew Perry’s assistant administered him cocaine. Estrada also asserted that the defendants allegedly exchanged texts regarding the distribution of narcotics to Perry.
Plasencia, who was also a doctor and had previously operated a ketamine clinic, is purportedly accused of contacting Chavez to acquire the substance for the purpose of selling it to Perry,
according to the Department of Justice. Plasencia is purported to have exchanged text messages with Chavez in which she allegedly contemplated the appropriate price to charge Perry for the ketamine.
