According to the Preston Coroner’s Court inquiry, which began on Thursday, Kiara had a “significant medical history” that included epilepsy.
“She was found dead at home in the bathtub in circumstances which suggest she may well have had an epileptic seizure while in the bath,” said Area Coroner Kate Bisset.
On August 7, the last inquiry investigating Kiara’s death will take place. The ‘lovely and compassionate’ 13-year-old has received a flood of tributes from friends and relatives.
