Actor most known for portraying Bodie Wells on “Dawson’s Creek” Obi Ndefo has passed away, according to a Facebook post by his sister.
Saying she was devastated by the loss of her younger brother, Nkem Ndefo conveyed the terrible news Saturday hoping he would at last find rest. She omitted declaring a cause of death.
Beginning in Hollywood in the middle of the 1990s, Obi starred in little parts on series like “Star Trek: Voyager,” “3rd Rock From the Sun,” and “Angel,” then had a major break on “Dawson’s Creek.”
Playing Bodie Wells throughout its six-season run, Ndefo starred in ten episodes of “DC,” dating Nina Repeta’s Bessie Potter during his tenure on the program.
