Actor Says His “Lips Are Meant For One Woman” When Asked About Kissing Other Actors in Film and Television

While McDonough’s position did add some complexity to some positions, it did not entirely derail him.

In season five of the hit reality show Desperate Housewives, which follows a group of suburban women as they deal with marital problems, crimes, mysteries, and romance, he portrayed Dave Williams from 2008 to 2009.

When Closer Weekly questioned McDonough about his decision to exclude kissing from the comedy-drama, he said that he had already told producer Marc Cherry,

“I’m sure you know, but I won’t kiss anybody.” ‘But this is Desperate Housewives!’ he said. Then I said, “I know.” After a little hesitation, he finally said, “Okay, I guess I’ll just have to improve my writing.”
