At a party in October 2021, Liverpool resident Isabella Gawley, then 16 years old, consumed the horse tranquilizer medication.
After her grandma passed away, the youngster began taking it every day, which left her bedridden at three and a half stone, or 22 kg.
‘Every five minutes’ she had to get up to use the restroom since the anesthetic had damaged her kidneys and bladder.
Isabella spent more than £30,000 on ketamine by October 25, 2024, and was admitted to the hospital following a heart collapse.
