O’Donnell, 18, died after being taken to the Bay Medical Center in severe condition. There is still a fourth student in critical condition.

In addition to being a two-time Massachusetts state diving champion, O’Donnell received MVP and First Team All-State recognition. In the fall, she intended to enroll at Williams College.
She was referred to as one of the greatest in the nation by Boston Area Diving coach Joe Chirico. Chirico declared, “It’s a tragedy,”
