Brazilian Jordélia Pereira Barbosa was arrested on suspicion of delivering chocolate eggs to her boyfriend’s new family, which resulted in the deaths of a kid and the critical condition of two others.
According to local authorities, Barbosa was motivated by “revenge” and “jealousy” and is suspected of buying, spiking, and distributing the deadly chocolate to her ex-partner’s girlfriend and her family.
The 35-year-old is accused of buying the Easter eggs from a store, poisoning them, and then having them sent to her ex-boyfriend’s new partner’s house.
