Lamb allegedly pointed a gun at one of the investigators who followed him behind his house to interview him about his alleged role in the earlier disturbance, according to Kansas City police, as reported by KCTV.
One of the policemen shot Lamb after spotting the gun, killing him in the process. Lamb’s family, understandably upset, spoke with Kansas City Police to get answers about their son’s sudden passing.
Detectives were only allowed to share specific details since the investigation was still underway. The family’s interest quickly gave way to mistrust.
When Lamb’s family was unable to obtain the information they sought, they turned to lawyer and self-described social justice campaigner Lee Merritt.
