After acknowledging that the US “needs it very badly,” Donald Trump threatens Greenland with serious military action.

He acknowledged to host Kristen Welker that it wouldn’t be the best idea to use military action to do it at this time.

“Well, I think we’re not going to ever get to that point. It could happen. Something could happen with Greenland. We need that for both international and national security, I’ll be honest,” Trump stated.

When Welker asked, “But not with Canada?”It’s not likely at all. He remarked, “I don’t see it with Canada.” “I have to tell you, I just don’t see it.”

About 90% of Canadians including Mark Carney, the country’s new prime minister, are against it joining the US, but Trump said he’s always up for the conversation.

“I’ll discuss that all the time. Do you know why? We spend $200 billion annually subsidizing Canada,” he stated.

“Their autos are not necessary for us. We actually don’t want their vehicles. Their energy is not necessary for us.

Even their vitality is not something we want. Compared to them, we have more. Their lumber is not what we want. Our lumber is excellent. I just need to get rid of the environmental crazies.
