Consequently, she contacted Hoode Philly, a tattoo artist located in Philadelphia who specializes in blackout tattoos.
“I just couldn’t explain how satisfying it was to see all the messes he would clean up with his blackout tattoo work,” said the woman.
“I think at that time I thought I would just black out an arm, but shortly after, I knew I would end up tattooing my whole body.”
As for Kat’s decision to cover over most of her tattoos, she said that she did it because they “represented a part of my life that no longer aligns with who I am today.”
According to her, although some individuals find such markers to be useful for keeping track of time, she herself became sick of seeing them first thing in the morning and every time she glanced in the mirror.
