When Grammer and Karen last spoke on June 30, they agreed to meet in the Sunshine State following the Fourth of July, but his sister was never able to make it.
Grammer called the police when he didn’t hear from her again.
As the Golden Globe winner subsequently learned, Karen went to work at Red Lobster and was waiting outside when she ran into Glenn and two other people mere hours after their phone conversation.
At first, they intended to rob the restaurant, but after pulling a gun on Karen, they persuaded her to accompany them.
She replied, “For what?” which Grammer claims was her typical sarcastic manner, according to police documents.
Glenn then tied Karen up and drove her to an apartment where the men alternately raped her, ending the heist.
