There was no sign of the individual when search teams arrived, leading them to believe that they had wandered off the track and had spent the night attempting to locate it again.
Fortunately, after a day of being disoriented, they discovered the path that led back to their vehicle, and they seemed oblivious to the fact that rescuers were trying to locate them.
Lake County Search & Rescue detailed the whole situation on Facebook, writing: “Multiple attempts to contact the subject via their cell phone were unsuccessful.”
The subject didn’t answer our repeated phone calls as they didn’t know the number, which is a significant takeaway.
