After cremating and holding a funeral for a woman they believed to be a loved one, the family discovered she was still alive!

Then, in April 2024, local police said that she had overdosed on drugs and died in an empty lot in February of that year.

The autopsy report revealed that she had significant quantities of cocaine in her body.

Hopkins was shocked by that and started to question whether her sister had been drugged, implying that she didn’t use cocaine. In an interview with WROC, Hopkins said, “Did somebody like lace her?”

According to Hopkins, the body was cremated right away due to its extreme decomposition, and a funeral and memorial ceremony were performed in May 2024.

But a few months later, Hopkins got an odd message from a stranger in Detroit, and that’s when everything changed for the family.

The message began, “Ma’am, I’m concerned your sister is not dead,” and included a picture of a woman Hopkins claimed was her sibling.
