It is now unknown whether others ate the stew she prepared without knowing its components or if she was the only one who tried it.
The horrific act occurs months after a Brazilian retiree was taken into custody after admitting to removing and consuming a man’s genitalia and heart.
In March, 60-year-old Celso Marques Ferreira was discovered dead in a town square in the beach resort of Peruibe, two hours south of São Paulo, missing his penis and a portion of his heart.
Alongside his disfigured body was a blood-stained message that accused a woman known as “gringa,” the alias suspect Josefa Lima de Sousa used, of being the culprit.
At the scene, there was also a knife with dried blood on the blade.
After being detained with her partner, Josefa, 65, confessed to the heinous crime. She said she struck her alleged victim after learning he was abusing children.
She allegedly admitted to police that she had cooked his heart and penis and then consumed them.
