Three words were scrawled on the Post-it note that resulted in Carrillo being placed in handcuffs. One of these was “Please help us.”
The young kid and his sibling have since been removed from the accused, though it is still unclear exactly where the Post-it note was left and who read it to notify the authorities.
The nine-year-old told the forensic interviewer that he felt as though he was “not breathing” throughout the harrowing experience, and he said that Carrillo attempted to smother him.
While he was pinned down and pummeled during a police interrogation.
One sentence in the police report that Local 10 was able to view stated: “She disciplines her children and not her boyfriend’s.”
