After losing a High Court case over police protection, Meghan Markle may not be able to attend Prince Harry’s Invictus Games in Birmingham. The city, which just experienced its council’s bankruptcy, is hosting the event to celebrate winning a £26 million bid.

 

At a May special ceremony at London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral, Harry celebrated the tenth anniversary of Invictus; however, neither the King nor William made an appearance, and neither did Meghan or their children.

But for Harry and Meghan, the Games will always be memorable since they were first seen in public together in 2017 at Invictus in Toronto, watching the wheelchair tennis.

Prior to their retirement from key royal duties in early 2020, the couple tied the knot at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

After learning that he would no longer receive the “same degree” of personal protective security when visiting,
