On the TLC program 1000-Lb Sisters, Tammy gained notoriety by tracking her and her sister Amy’s weight loss efforts.
Tammy weighed 725 pounds at her heaviest. She had an oxygen tube to help her breathe and used a wheelchair and walker to go about.
As she said in a TikTok video from February, “I was bitter, unhappy, very super suicidal, depressed, and just mean.” Her mental health also worsened.
