One Ohio woman’s world turned into a nightmare after returning home from a beautiful vacation after she unexpectedly fell very ill and eventually lost her hands and legs.
However, six years later, Marie Trainer is taking back her life and demonstrating to the world what it means to be truly resilient.
According to Inside Edition, Marie’s German shepherd puppy gave her a few eager kisses when she welcomed her home from a tropical trip in the spring of 2019.
Safe, isn’t it? However, Marie suffered a minor cut on her palm with a hotel keycard. At the moment, she didn’t give it much thought, but a few days later, things took a scary turn.
According to Fox8, she recounted, “I wasn’t feeling well and just got sicker and sicker four days later.”
