But this isn’t the first time the comedian has been accused of wrongdoing; he was also let go from Silicon Valley, the program that may have catapulted him to stardom.
“There are a lot of different ways you can find out somebody doesn’t want to do the show anymore,” showrunner Mike Judge told the Hollywood Reporter around the time of Miller’s departure.
“And it’s not fun to work with someone who doesn’t want to be there, [especially] when they’re one of the main people. There are a lot of crewmembers, extras, and [unpaid] people showing up before 7am, and then they’re just like, ‘Oh, OK, we’re not shooting today.'”
In a tweet, Silicon Valley co-star Alice Wetterlund blasted TJ Miller, calling him a “petulant brat” and a bully.
After she accused his male co-stars of helping him, HBO issued a statement expressing their “dismay” at her worries.
For comment, UNILAD has reached out to TJ Miller’s representatives.
