When actress and activist Alyssa Milano announced a significant change in her living situation and alluded to much more significant changes in the works, she grabbed headlines once again.
Milano, a strong supporter of progressive causes, said that she is selling all of her homes in areas with Republican leanings and relocating to a blue state.
She attributed her decision to growing political and cultural conflicts. After years of complaining about the leadership and policies in red states, Milano finally made.
The choice. She has often attacked these states for their positions on topics like gun control, LGBTQ+ protections, and abortion rights. Milano expressed her worries in a recent interview:
Living in places that don’t reflect my ideals no longer makes me feel secure or at ease. It’s devastating, but I have no other option given the state of politics.
