After shooting a man dead during a routine traffic stop, a police officer made a disturbing five-word comment to a coworker.

Dashcam and audio records later revealed that upon exiting the car, Randall placed his wallet in his back pocket and adjusted his waistband.

This movement, which Sgt. Iversen interpreted as potentially reaching for a concealed weapon, set off alarm bells for the officer.

Despite Randall’s immediate compliance he put his hands behind his back and calmly stated.

“I don’t have anything on me” the officer failed to explain the reason for the arrest and instead physically forced Randall to the ground.

Randall questioned repeatedly: “Officer, please, can you tell me what I’m under arrest for?” No verbal response came.

The dashcam then captured a chaotic scuffle. Iversen slammed Randall down once again. The force of the action caused Randall to bounce back to his feet.
