After striking an unauthorized drone flying over the Pacific Palisades, a plane that was collecting water from the ocean to combat wildfires was grounded.

Canada leased the two Super Scooper aircraft. A rented Super Scooper aircraft used to combat the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles was damaged and grounded by an illegally flown drone.

According to officials, the drone struck the aircraft and caused a fist-sized hole in its wing that needed to be fixed. The Federal Aviation.
