The lady he was attempting to assist stabbed 29-year-old firefighter paramedic Graham Hoffman in the heart, resulting in his death on Sunday. Hoffman was praised for his heroic dedication.
According to authorities, the fatal assault was carried out by 39-year-old Shanetta Bossell when Hoffman was taking her to a hospital.
She is now facing several allegations, such as assault, resisting arrest, armed criminal activity, and first-degree murder. A $1 million bond is being used to hold her.
