Two passengers have been identified from the small plane that crashed Thursday, May 22, into a neighborhood near San Diego.
Numerous neighborhoods had to be evacuated when the plane, which is believed to have had six people on board, crashed into Murphy Canyon, San Diego, on Thursday morning.
During a press conference, assistant Fire Department head Dan Eddy declared, “Jet fuel is everywhere.” “Searching all these homes and getting everyone out right now is our main goal.”
He further detailed ‘a massive debris field’ in a densely populated neighborhood and noted that ‘there is a direct strike to numerous homes’ in the region.
Dave Shapiro, a talent music agent who was on board the aircraft and is thought to have owned the Cessna 550, tragically perished in the disaster.
