According to an expert from the aviation company’s website, “Dave doesn’t care about anything from BASE jumping to aerobatic flying, helicopters to twin engines, flight instructing to furthering his own education as long as he gets to be in the sky.”
The plane that crashed in San Diego also had drummer Daniel Williams, a former member of the metal band The Devil Wears Prada, headquartered in Ohio.
In a social media tribute to the artist and Shapiro, William’s former bandmates from The Devil Wears Prada wrote: “No words. We owe everything to you. Love you always.”
After Thursday’s horrific crash, reports indicate that several residences and six automobiles were on fire.
Officials reported that eight residents were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries and smoke inhalation.
