The bereaved family of Tommie-Lee Gracie Billington is imploring parents to inform their children about the catastrophic repercussions of the social media mania in the wake of their loss.
Tina Burns, the schoolboy’s bereaved grandmother, asserts that he passed away “instantaneously” after attempting to emulate the alarming trend.
She stated, “Tommie-Lee succumbed to cardiac arrest and passed away immediately. Despite the hospital’s efforts to revive him, nothing was successful. He had vanished.
Burns paid tribute to her grandson, stating that the 11-year-old was a “bright, energetic boy” with a “heart of gold.”
