The boy’s family is receiving assistance from officers, and a police investigation is currently underway.

The BBC reports that the Preston Coroners Court conducted an inquest into the death of Tommie-Lee, during which it was revealed that the police were treating the boy’s death as unexplained.
One of the lines of inquiry was whether he inhaled substances. The coroner verified that there were no suspicious circumstances.
Following the 11-year-old’s death, the BBC reported in June that two individuals had been questioned.
