Miami (TCN) — After authorities reacted to a report of a toddler wandering around a parking lot, they arrested an alleged stalker on suspicion of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend.
A lady reported her 3-year-old granddaughter walking about her apartment complex to a Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputy just before 4 p.m. on April 26. The toddler was taken back to
Her grandmother’s house by a neighbor who recognized her. At the time, the child was said to have had dried blood on her face and clothing.
When deputies arrived at the child’s home, they attempted to locate her mother, Maria Garcia-Molina, 24, but she was not there.
Garcia-Molina was discovered dead inside her car with what appeared to be stab wounds after authorities checked the area.
Investigators found Garcia-Molina wrapped in blankets on the back floorboard and found blood on the front passenger seat, according to an arrest report that WFOR-TV saw.
