Make art based on subjects that are meaningful to you and experiences that are drawn from your spirit. People will try to change you, especially when you display your art in public.
persons will urge you to draw things they would like to see, such as persons who resemble them, or things they wish they could draw.
You will lose yourself if you listen to other people. Without attempting to please others, create what makes you happy.
It’s acceptable for those who connect to stay and for those who don’t to leave. People frequently ask me to make artwork on illnesses or cultures I’m not very familiar with.
My work would become less honest if I paid attention to what other people thought. Don’t allow yourself to experience that.
