An artist who was “ready to die” after allowing onlookers to touch her describes the horrifying moment something went horribly wrong.

The controversial performance artist who let viewers six hours to do anything they pleased with her body has revealed the exact moment the prank went tragically wrong.

Marina Abramović, a conceptual artist from Serbia, made the decision to do her most daring act to date in 1974. Called ‘Rhythm 0,’

the artist remained motionless for six hours while viewers were free to use a number of things on her anyway they pleased.

In order to test the public’s willingness to exert total control over another person’s body, Abramović placed seventy-two different things out for viewers to use.

Among them were a rose, a feather, food, grapes, wine, perfume, honey, nails, a metal bar, a rifle, and a bullet.
