Lucy thought that Liam would have perished immediately from the 100-meter plunge if he had gone all the way down the waterfall, as happened to two visitors years before.
“There was just so much blood everywhere,” she recalled when she eventually reached him, “especially considering we were sitting in a waterfall with the water washing it away constantly.”
“It simply demonstrated how quickly he was bleeding out,” she said.You basically go into full survival mode when you see someone you love in that position, and it was just horrifying.
