The identities of the 11-year-old girl and her mother, who perished in the aircraft accident in Philadelphia on Friday night, have been revealed.
Less than a minute after taking off, an air ambulance crashed into a crowded area in Philadelphia, shocking the city with word of an aircraft disaster on Friday.
At 6:06 PM local time, the Learjet 55 took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport on its way to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri.
Before continuing on to Tijuana, where she and her family were from, the jet was scheduled to make a stop in Missouri with a kid who had received treatment at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia.
After reaching a height of 1,600 feet, it swiftly disappeared from radar and was said to have been in the air for about 40 seconds before descending.
