In 1946, Louis Reard, an underwear entrepreneur, invented the first bikini for women. Because individuals were not yet used to exposing so much of their bodies, views were first mixed.
5. 1950s-era swimwear
Because they captured men’s hearts and souls, bikinis were stunning and very popular among women. Brigitte Bardot was the first female to have the courage to wear a body-relieving suit of the kind.
6. Sixties-era swimwear
People experimented with a lot of traditional swimwear in those years. However, since the previous swimsuits took too long to dry, they mostly attempted to make them out of fabrics that dried quickly.
