The BLS’s Business Employment Dynamics (BED) report for the third quarter of 2023.
Shows that the U.S. economy witnessed a net drop of 1,000 private-sector jobs—contradicting earlier monthly estimates showing a growth of around 400,000 jobs during the same time.
The Biden-Harris government stated via BLS monthly job estimates that 399,000 nonfarm payroll jobs were added to the American economy between July and September 2023.
