Rolland’s mother told deputies that Blu was potentially deceased inside the defendant’s residence, as indicated by the affidavit. At that time, the authorities entered the residence and discovered the child,
who was enveloped in multiple layers of plastic sacks, beneath the floorboards. He was discovered on December 16, 2022, which would have been his sixth birthday.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the boy’s death is suspected to have been caused by injuries sustained in the residence, as indicated by preliminary investigations.
According to reports, Rolland informed the authorities that her son had passed away on September 9, 2022, three months prior.
Blu allegedly “angered her boyfriend, Nathan Bridges, by biting his finger when Bridges stuck it in” his mouth, according to the affidavit. It was reported that Bridges submerged the infant in the commode as a form of punishment.
Rolland acknowledged that she had entered the lavatory and observed her son laboring to breathe, despite the fact that his body appeared lifeless.
