Bridges was also said to have concealed her son beneath the floorboards after his demise, according to her testimony to investigators.
In regards to her daughter’s injuries, Rolland alleges that they were also caused by Bridges, who allegedly held the girl’s “head and upper torso under hot water in the bathtub.
” According to reports, Bridges would administer scalding water as a form of discipline to Rolland’s daughter, who is said to have behavioral issues.
Rolland and Bridges were initially accused with capital murder, abuse of a cadaver, tampering with tangible evidence, and jeopardizing the welfare of a minor, according to state police.
Bridges was sentenced to 60 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to first-degree homicide and first-degree battery in July, while Rolland was sentenced to a 40-year sentence.
