Arrest of a wanted McGaheysville fugitive on suspicion of child pornography

WHSV, Rockingham County, Virginia After returning from a flight from Mexico, a McGaheysville fugitive was arrested by Department of Homeland Security officers at Dulles International Airport on Friday, according to officials.

When the jet landed at around 3 p.m., U.S. Customs apprehended 34-year-old Jacob Duvall-Early, who was identified by DHS officers as a passenger on a trip from Mexico to Dulles.

According to a statement from the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office. After that, RCSO deputies “immediately responded” to Dulles and arrested Duvall-Early.

Duvall-Early was arrested on 13 local charges for possessing child pornography and has been a wanted fugitive since September 2024.

According to the RCSO announcement, he also has unresolved charges from Baltimore County, Maryland. Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson issued a statement saying.

“We are very grateful to our Federal law enforcement partners the Department of Homeland Security and the US Marshals in particular for their assistance in this matter as the arrest would not have been made without them.”
