A student at FSU, has been arrested and is suspected of carrying out the shooting. The 20-year-old reportedly used one of his mother’s pistols during the shooting and is the son of a police officer.
At a news conference, authorities said that the suspect was the son of one of their deputies, but they have not yet determined the reason for the shooting.
