Though it will cost the nation an arm and a leg to do so, the 78-year-old has volunteered to extend the Golden Dome’s protection across Canada too – unless it changes its position on becoming the 51st state.
“I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fantastic Golden Dome System, that it will cost $61 billion dollars if they remain a separate, but unequal, nation.
But will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State,” Trump said on Truth Social’s social media page. They are evaluating the offer!”
Regarding what he believes of Trump’s idea, Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney has already maintained that his nation is ‘not for sale, ever’.
He claimed to have persuaded Trump from a ‘expectation to a desire’ about annexing Canada during his visit to the White House at the start of this month.
