At 76, Sally Field Was Called ‘Ugly’ for Embracing Aging Naturally—But She Has Her Beloved Family for Support

With significant risks, potential malpractice, or cosmetic surgery complications, all of which often fall into the legal liability zone for medical professionals.

According to her interview with Good Housekeeping in 2009, Sally has consistently been hesitant to undergo any type of surgical procedure.

“I see myself on TV and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy.’ But then I see some of the women (who have had plastic surgery) who I thought when they were younger were so beautiful. Now I think, Oh, dear, don’t do that! And it seems to be terribly disrespectful to who they are now.”

As time has passed, Sally has continued to thrive in her career and has secured roles, although they may not be as prominent as the ones she had in her youth.

However, this has not changed her perspective on aging naturally or her commitment to personal health and mental clarity.
