Authorities affirm that Jay Slater’s injuries are consistent with those caused by an accidental fall.

 

Using the location tag “Rural de Teno park,” Jay shares a Snapchat photo taken from the front door of the house he slept in for the night. 8.30am

After missing his bus, he tries to walk back to his lodging, but it would take more than ten hours. He contacts his friend Lucy Law to inform her this.

He said he was disoriented and had “cut his leg” on a cactus. His phone, he said, was just 1% charged. It was at the park of Rural de Teno when he was last seen. 9.04am

Everyone is saying he vanished. Tuesday, June 18th, Mountain rescue personnel and local police are combing Rural de Teno park in an effort to find Jay after friends spent the previous day looking without success.

He and his family take a plane to Tenerife to help with the hunt. Tuesday, June 19th After a brief diversion to the southern Los Cristianos region in pursuit of a possible lead, the search team decides to go back north.
