The services of TV investigator Mark Williams-Thomas and his colleagues are being offered to aid in the hunt for Jay. He adds:
“If [Jay’s family] give me total access and with feet on the ground I will very quickly be able to say if his disappearance is him alone or if it has third party involvement.” June 30th, Sunday
The hunt for Jay has been called off after 13 days by the Tenerife Civil Guard. However, they are keeping their inquiry open and will investigate any fresh leads.
The members of Jay’s family have vowed to keep looking on their own. July 15th, Monday The discovery of the bones of a “young man” has prompted an announcement from the police.
Tuesday, July 16th Spanish officials have verified via autopsy that the corpse recovered is that of Jay Slater.
