Authorities issue warning after man attacked by shark as chilling footage shows them swimming between beachgoers

A shark is seen swimming by beachgoers in a video that has surfaced online, just before it looks like a swimmer is being attacked.

Authorities have subsequently warned locals about the event, which happened yesterday (April 21) on the Hadera beach in northwest Israel when temperatures hit 80°F (27°C).

Shortly after the shark was photographed swimming near nearby beachgoers, the Orot Rabin power station filmed a horrifying attack on camera, including the victim’s agonizing cries for assistance.

One individual who called the emergency services describes the trauma that was taking place in the recording.

Someone has been bitten by a shark here. He is yelling, “Help!” At Hadera, he is in the sea. Her words were, “He’s drowning.”

“He’s in the ocean. No one will come to his aid.
