A forthcoming TV program has J.K. Rowling’s participation, and some are threatening to boycott it. ‘Harry Potter’ is a worldwide media brand based on the fantasy book series written by 58-year-old British novelist J. K. Rowling.
There has been a lot of backlash against the author in recent years for her outspoken views on transgender individuals and civil rights issues.
Since a string of postings in 2020, Rowling has been heavily attacked.It seems like the author took issue with the words “people who menstruate” in an opinion post that was shared from X (previously Twitter).
“Those who have periods,” she said. “I’m sure those folks had a name when they were younger. Assist me, please. So, you’re dumb? Oh, dude! Um, woomud?
“If s** isn’t real, there’s no same-s** attraction,” she said later. The lived experience of women throughout the world is erased if s** isn’t genuine.
