Unsettling video captured Monday’s brutal shark attack in northern Israel. According to The Jerusalem Post, the event occurred close to the city of Hadera, off a beach where swimmers.
Are prohibited and sharks are known to frequent. The remains of 40-year-old Barak Tzach, a married father of four from Petah Tikva, Israel, were recognized by rescue crews on Tuesday.
Tzach was reportedly the guy who was assaulted in the video. WARNING: There are some potentially upsetting visuals in this video.

Sarit, Tzach’s wife, addressed reports of the assault in a social media post on Wednesday. As he often did, Barak came to the beach after a day of work on the day of his death.
He went into the water with a GoPro camera, a mask, fins, and a snorkel—nothing more, and definitely not fish or bait, unlike what some people have been saying,” Tzach wrote.
