Before she committed herself in a small Western Australian town, Virginia Giuffre’s last picture is made public, and her brother posts a poignant message.

Following Virginia Giuffre’s suicide in Western Australia, her brother shared a last snapshot of his sister.

Prior to her death on Friday night, Ms. Giuffre, who was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein as a teenager, had posted disturbing content on Instagram.

“We announce with deep sadness that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia,” her family said in a statement.

She was a lifelong victim of sex trafficking and sexual assault before taking her own life. In the battle against sex trafficking and sexual assault, Virginia was a valiant fighter.

For many survivors, she was their ray of hope. “In the end, Virginia was unable to bear the burden of abuse because it was so heavy.”

Danny Wilson, Ms. Giuffre’s brother, honored his sister on Facebook on Saturday by posting a charming picture of the two of them with another man.

The night Derrick Harmon is drafted into the NFL, his mother passes away.
