Before the Friends actor passed away at the age of 54, Matthew Perry and his assistant spent $55,000 over the course of 29 days on 55 ketamine vials.

Iwamasa texted Plasencia on October 2, referring to it in the agreed-upon code as “dr pepper,” and stating that he wanted to purchase additional vials of ketamine in addition to injection sessions.

Plasencia showed in, gave Perry the shots, and took the anesthetic vials.

Iwamasa gave Perry his first injection on October 4. He emailed the physician, telling him that he had discovered “the sweet spot” for injecting his boss,

but that they were out of needles after testing several areas on Perry. Texting Chavez, Plasencia asked if he could continue to deliver the medication so they could establish themselves as Perry’s “go-to.”

Iwamasa informed Plasencia on October 6 that they were running out and needed more. Plasencia visited Perry at home and sold him a vial or two.

During an evening gathering at a Santa Monica, California mall on October 8, Plasencia offered Iwamasa four ketamine vials in exchange for $6,000 in cash.
