Before they were tragically discovered dead, James Lee Williams, also known as The Vivienne, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, made a significant last Instagram post.
The Vivienne, a well-liked celebrity in the British business, was crowned the “Drag Superstar” in 2019.
On January 5, Simon Jones, a friend and publicist, announced the heartbreaking news. Jones shared the following on Instagram:
“We regret to inform you that our beloved James Lee Williams, also known as The Vivienne, died away this past weekend. James was a wonderful, kind, and much-loved individual.
The death of their brother, uncle, and son has devastated their family. They are very proud of James’s amazing accomplishments in both their personal and professional lives.
