However, West has allegedly refused to release the document, titled “Designation of Agency”, without a protective order in place.
Provo’s legal team argues that since West himself introduced the topic, no protective order is needed and is asking the court to fine West $2,610 for failing to comply.
In his lawsuit, Provo, who also worked security for West’s Sunday Service events, alleges that Black employees were treated less favorably than white colleagues.
He claims West was consistently more polite to non-Black staff and alleges he was pressured to cut off his dreadlocks, which he wears for religious reasons, before being terminated for refusing.
West and his representatives have denied all allegations.
